Miami's New Facilities Tour
It's the off-season for all college sports and things are slow on the boards so I thought I'd post this.

Great video here shows our new Hockey digs and explains the meaning behind everything as Coach Blasi does a walk-through and also shows the off-ice shooting area complete with simulated crowd.... I especially like the sliding Superman "M" door that is the entrance to the lockerroom. Welcome to the "M-Pire" !

As good as anybody in the country.

The MAC doesn't sponsor hockey. Miami is in the NCHC with North Dakota and Denver, to name a few.

Wow that is impressive. Miami Hockey is a tough ticket to find in SW Ohio.

I think Miami and Ohio should be AAC programs but they are wedded to the MAC.

Big ups to Miami (the original since 1809 if I'm not mistaken). I'm obviously jealous because tOSU plays in what feels like a sterile, way too big, graveyard of an arena in the Schott. I'm hoping the newly created B1G league can increase attendance but even 4000 fans looks like nothing in that place. We really need to get serious and invest some $ in hockey facilities too. At any rate this shows why Miami is the top hockey program in Ohio right now... Good Stuff Redhawks!!!

RE: Miami's New Facilities Tour
One thing about the MAC people are forgetting is that its 12 residential college town schools.

The large reason presidents in the MAC aren't interested in moving on to a market based conference is because they see an institutional fit where they are at. There is also the enrollment aspect of a MAC school with all of them around 20,000. Then the MAC is more conservative on coaching salaries than other G5. What you have then is a philosophy.
