I guess we will see. I do not think this would really shock anyone though.

Wow is right. We should see other sources confirming soon if the report is accurate.

RE: LeBron to Cleveland
I have heard Sheridan a couple of times on the radio today and he is absolutely adamant that LBJ is headed to Cleveland. He was on with Colin Coward and did not back down at all on his statement.

RE: LeBron to Cleveland
I think Lebron's been leaning the Cleveland way for awhile...and people keep finding reasons to believe he's already there:

http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2014/07...interwebs/
"Early Thursday morning a report from Matt Borcas, a Grantland.com contributor, that LeBron James’ website—LeBronJames.com—has new pages that were recently built with Cleveland Cavaliers colors according to a web developer’s friend."

Web developer friend's take on the LeBronJames.com stuff: http://t.co/3d8UPEXrTj—

Really dude?

Stephen A. Smith said Bosh and James were going to Miami two or three weeks before James did. He backed off a little bit when all the pundits dogged him about it. In 2010, Chris Sheridan was with ESPN. I'd like for you to show me where he broke the rumor that James was definitely going to Miami. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

BTW... I remember Smith saying it on his Fox Sports radio show. He was adamant about it. He said his sources in the James camp assured him of it.

Why did you make it racial?

LeBron James Picks Miami: Stephen A. Smith Was Right

Quote:But sports journalist Stephen A. Smith made a pick last week that is also worth mentioning–he predicted that James would go to the Heat. Not only that, Smith forecast that Chris Bosh would also go to Miami and that Dwayne Wade would stay there. All three picks turned out to be right.

On his radio show on June 28, Smith said ““You’re only as good as your sources, as a journalist, and from what I’m being told, after hearing what everybody has to say, LeBron James will agree to team with Dwyane Wade, he’s going to South Beach. LeBron James and Chris Bosh are going to South Beach; they are going to play for the Miami Heat.”

Smith’s website now boasts this message: “Ten days ago, FOX Sports Radio host Stephen A. Smith boldly proclaimed that sources told him superstar LeBron James, along with Chris Bosh, would be heading to Miami to join Dwyane Wade as members of the Miami Heat. And tonight, Smith’s proclamation rang true, as LeBron James has announced that he has decided to sign with the Heat, ending weeks of speculation as to where the NBA MVP would play next season.”

Admit you are wrong and apologize.

You don't know me, don't know what I'm about, and have me mistaken.

That is fair.

I admit I am wrong and fully apologize.

I always appreciate your takes, even though you come across as somebody who has to have the last thought, or post.

In exchange, I would ask that you try to be more open minded to others as well.

When I share something I am familiar with because I remember my reaction upon hearing the news like it was yesterday only to be told I was only saying that because the guy I named was black and the other guy is caucasian, I'd say I'm not the one who needs be more open-minded.

I do appreciate the apology.

fair enough

like I said, I was wrong.....if you want to continue to pound that in, fine, but for crying out loud, you are making this small issue a much larger one - way larger than it needs to be

peace

RE: LeBron to Cleveland
Cleveland fans remind me of a loser who's wife runs off with the hunk across town. She has no use for him until something goes wrong with the hunk and then comes home. The loser welcomes her home like nothing ever happened. Then again we are talking about Cleveland.

I did not think James would ever return to Cleveland except perhaps well past his prime. He is giving up the Miami lifestyle, weather, and money (FL does not have an income tax) to return home. I admire that he cares about his legacy and gives hope to a region in dire need of it.

I am a big fan of his now, FWIW.
