He's WAAAAY too small to play SG in the league. Out of the question.

It's PG all the way. Thomas (5'9") is most likely leaving Kings...
JJ was on the Kings roster for Summer League...Wonder what happened there. Now he's not. hmmm

He'll make some nice money overseas. Nothing wrong with that.

That's the safe thing to say..Except it's not Joe's idea. He wants to play in the NBA, and he just played his second game.

There's almost no coaching going on at this point. Plus all the guards are competing against each other. It's helter skelter don't be better than I am, but let's win as a team. I call that conflict. Joe is better today than yesterday. Ya just never know. Might as well support his dream.

I actually feel sorry for him. Its obvious that his pre college coaches never even bothered coaching the guy up. They failed him

I think Wilbekin looked the most like a PG in game 1.

I don't think any of them get a serious look. They'll probably sign a cheap vet.

And NC might not be back and is at the least out for the first 13 games. If he comes back, he might be disgruntled.

It will be interesting.

Folks forget Pondexter as well.

He's solid. Not great but steady.

His pre-college coaches seemed to be pretty busy coaching up his confidence. They probably should have fed him. It's true he was woefully short on confidence, but physically he was undernourished, so it was reported.

If someone like Thomas can make it, JJ can. While Thomas is more solid, he was not more skilled. He used to run around like a chicken with his head cut off when he first hit the court for the Kings.

too bad the Grizz can't assign Calathes to Summer League...and then sit him out for 13 games there...and when NBA season starts he'd be eligible to play right away.

Minutes will fluctuate each game.

Joe got a DNP today.

On the other hand, Terrico White played well.

Some NBA guy on the radio thinks both Calathes and Udrih are gone and Miller may be. Said he thinks Wilbekin has a shot.

Tillery said Grizz want Wilbekin and Okaro White to play for Iowa D league.

Terrico White is a great streak shooter. If he gets on a roll, he's got a shot to make a roster. Staying there could be tough. Crawford might actually have a better chance, with his rebounding. Joe-I just don't know.
