Without BCS status, Cincy's 2015 FB recruiting drops dramatically from 2013 level.
Cincy has five 2015 verbals with competing BCS offers out of a total of 17 current 2015 verbals. This is down substantially from 2013, when Cincy was a BCS school and could dangle a BCS bowl, plus the Orlando, Charlotte, and Pinstripe Bowls against BCS conferences.

Contrast Cincy's 2015 situation to 2013. Cincinnati signed 19 players in their 2013 class with 12 of them having BCS offers.

The Nbe/AAC invitees are very positive about their new conference configuration. But, the gains made by the invitees are being paid for by Cincy, USF, and UConn.

And while the Nbe/AAC invitees are very positive about their new conference configuration, it is also apparent that CUSA schools/invitees are also recruiting strongly as many Nbe/AAC schools. For example, FAU has 6 out of 11 verbals with BCS offers. Upstarts ODU and UTSA are also recruiting strongly. Rice, taking advantage of its Liberty Bowl appearance, has put together a strong class.

UConn has twelve 2015 verbals. Only one recruit has a BCS competing offer. DT Keven Murphy has a BCS offer from Boston College.

Many CUSA schools are recruiting at a level or higher level than both Cincy and UConn.

CUSA, as it has proved twice in the past, is a strong platform for success for its members. CUSA has expanded wisely, as witnessed by recruiting results.

Don't ask me why.... but I checked your 247 site and not one of the 2015 UTSA commits has a P5 offer.

Someone else can prove this troll wrong on the other schools.

In fact if UTSA is out recruiting anyone it is Texas State.....

LOL......Do you have the numbers for Cinci in JULY of 2013???? How about this---University of Texas recruiting is down DRAMATICALLY in the wake of CUSA's massive recruiting uptick. Currently, Texas only has 3 4-star recruits and only 7 3-stars. Last year Texas had 15 3-stars and 6 4-stars!!! CUSA is chewing into UT recruiting!!!

The numbers I used are true, but the conclusion I drew is joke. Its JULY!!! You cant compare July recruiting classes to previous years COMPLETED class. Its not just who you have now and how many competing offers they have. Its who you END UP with, who you hang on to, and how many competing offers these guys have as of Feb of 2015. Sure its fun to see the current numbers---but they mean very little at this early juncture.

By the way, the new television coverage that will aid the recruiting of the new AAC schools hasn't even begun yet. The new FOOTBALL media contract doesn't begin until this fall. Last season was under the final year of the old TV contract which offered less exposure. Interestingly, while the new media contract doesn't begin for football until this coming season---the new contract began LAST year for Olympic sports. Basketball exposure increased dramatically for the incoming CUSA schools. In fact, TV exposure even increased for the pre-existing AAC members like UConn. Once it kicks in, the new TV contract, in which virtually all AAC football games will be on national television, should represent a significant aid in AAC grid iron recruiting.

Rice: 5 total P5 offers for 15 commits.

ODU: 5 total P5 offers for 17 commits.

By contrast....

Cincy: 13 total P5 offers for 17 commits.

Cincinnati's 2013 class was ranked #63 by 247 Sports.

This year's group is currently ranked #37 by the same service.

Uh.... want to try again?
