Went there in 01 or 02 when we played there. Worst DI stadium I've ever seen by a longshot.

I don't think they've ever had any money as a program. Just read up on them, they were a Division III football program that got moved up when the NCAA required schools to be Division I in all sports. Their stadium holds an astounding 4,000 people, which I'm pretty sure Carl Smith Stadium in Wise holds more. They've had some marginal success, but really they're not that old of a program only having started in 1991.
Personal opinion is I think ETSU should wait until the first year in the Southern Conference, or maybe even as far out as 2017 and do a home and home series with them.
Of course Suitcase Jamey will have probably changed jobs again by then. He likes to move a lot. Regardless, it's nice to be debating real opponents again.

This site will be nice for checking out stadiums at the FCS level. It was a great resource for the last 5 years.

I'm just excited for the return of ETSU Football. I don't care who we play at this point, as long as we beat a majority of them. xD

It would be nice if we could know the schedule for 2015. I noticed that Kennewaw State has already posted theirs. We are only 10 months from kicking off. Come on, lets get this thing rolling. Do you think the schedule will be released at the homecomming scrimmage too?

No inside info but I bet they'll wait until spring practice and the blue/gold game to do it. They need a lot of stuff to make that a big event. I'm hoping they do the uniform unveiling then as well.

Im not sure you can wait that long on the schedule. Everyone else would have released theirs by then.

Now that we have a confirmation on the stadium, I wonder when they are going to annouce next season's schedule? Hopefully it's sometime soon, so we can know what were up against in our revival season.

We are now confirmed to be playing at Gardner-Webb on November 14th.

The university is going to risk the media figuring out the schedule piecemeal like this instead of making a nice event out of it. Just like happened with the stadium location.

Yeah they need to reveal the schedule soon because that's actually what's going to happen because soon everyone else is going to have their schedule out.

There must still be a couple of dates to fill.

Well Tennessee suddenly has a slot they need filled on opening day.

Has to be an FBS team. They already play Western Carolina.
