I live in a conservative state and I've never met people on this level. Are people in the south really like this?

This is how a lot of them really feel when they can hide behind the ananomity of the internet and don't have to say ridiculously bigoted things face to face. Some really scumbags if you ask me...07-coffee3

New low: invoking bigotry in a global warming thread.

Left really doesn't have anything but that and racism.

well, except for the fact we will have had 8 years in the WH and another 8 coming up, but yeah, basically you are right.

Here's what I don't understand about the left/democrats. Is winning the election all that matters? Do you even care what the impact on the country is, good or bad, as long as you win the election? I mean, all we hear about is what a great CANDIDATE Hillary will be, how many states she will carry, all of that. Does anybody have any reasons why Hillary will be a great, or even a good or competent, president?

Obama was an amazingly good candidate who is turning out to be an amazingly bad president. See his polls. He's probably a better candidate than Hillary. So what reason do we have to expect Hillary to be a better PRESIDENT?

Unfortunately, IMHO, that's all BOTH parties are interested in. Being electable is more important than actually performing the the job.
