Not in this instance but some on this board have pushed away good posters with their poor attitude. I go back to a couple of posters wanting sources for information posted or dont post the information at all. Ludicrous.

Where is Rath?

Fantastic post. If you're an adult you should know this.

I have also been wondering where rath is at.

Did anyone notice if Cali-Cat was a TTech fan when he posted here, or is this a recent profile update?

Per his page, he joined our board on June 21, 2014, and roots for " TTech and quo?".

Why has the NCAA shut The Big 12 down in their request for a waiver of the 12 team requirement for a conference championship game. I cannot think of a single policy reason why the NCAA would not grant the exception unless the other P5 conferences are lobbying against the Big 12 on equity grounds. In the end, will this force the b12 to increase, who knows, but it does allow for a pause in discourse on the whole realignment issue.

Here's another thing on that note: If the B12 truly believes the round-robin is the best way to crown a champ, then why bother petitioning to be allowed a CCG? The answer is they know it is a losing proposition - at least in the current court of public opinion and likely with the committee. Here's a quick sample that by itself isn't important, but is likely indicative of the type of coverage the B12 will get:

Quote: 37. Do conference championships work? The Big XII will find out the hard way if it doesn't get a team in the four-team playoff this year.

38. SEC championship? Alabama vs. Georgia.

39. Pac-12 championship? Oregon vs. UCLA.

40. Big Ten championship? Ohio State vs. Wisconsin.

41. ACC championship? Florida State vs. North Carolina.

The other P5 conferences have people talking about their schools/teams and who is going to play in their championship game while the B12 talk is about whether they'll be on the outside without a CCG. Which type of coverage would you want?
