I live in Texas. I speak Spanish. I watch Spanish language television, particularly news programs. I read Spanish language media as well. I haven't heard of many of these groups in years. Most of them, I've never heard of period.

The NCLR (aka La Raza) is not a revolutionary group. They appear to be a mainstream Hispanic group that advocates on a variety of issues related to the Hispanic community through our Democratic process. Many of the persons in that group, at least here in Texas, are from families that have been here in Texas longer than the vast majority of Anglos. Many of them are so assimilated that they cannot communicate in Spanish.

I'm sure you might find one or two people in some 'Chicano Studies' program somewhere who might have issued a paper on those topics but you guys are really reaching.

Latin Americans are not coming here in order to recreate the same problems that caused them to move in the first place. They're coming here to work because for a variety of reasons, there's no work in their home countries. Or because of violence and political instability.

I personally know, and respect individual members of NCLR. To be sure, they are liberal, and they do advocate for more open borders, but they are Americans just like you and I am. If I ever heard of any Reconquista BS, I'd challenge them on it. The only secessionists or traitors in Texas appear to be right wing secessionists.

They are advocating a re population of "Azteca" across the southern US. They are militant and they are angry, and they will out populate American born and their descendants. The goal is to reclaim this land for Mexico. That is not an opinion, nor is it a conspiracy.
