saw it the other day and thought about posting.....this board will generate a better reflection than paddy magee and the sun herald bias....

I would leave 'captain leave his feet and pirouette into a fumble situation' (fletcher) and Nix off and and replace with Sammy Winder from the southern miss side....it was a different game back then....that boy was a monster running inside....

...would easily put johnson on the list....

We might get a QB in the list with Darryl Hackney but probably not.

Roddy White should be #1 at WR.

Winder never played in CUSA.

I watched both play and both were special. Nix was incredible after you realize what he went thru.

I doubt Hackney makes it. Too many damn good QBs have come through this conference.

Garrard, Kolb, Keenum, Austin Davis, Ragone, Culpepper, Bortles,...

I do think Roddy should be in the top 5, though.

Culpepper didn't play in CUSA. It's only people that played their time in CUSA. That's why the RB list had close alternates that weren't in CUSA at the time but the teams they played on were or are CUSA teams.

Johnson, Moore, and Bradshaw all played in C-USA. (Bradshaw's freshman year was in the MAC in 2004, but Bradshaw played in C-USA 2005-06)

If you are talking about Daunte Culpepper he played at UCF from 95-98.

UCF Starting QBs in CUSA
Steven Moffett
Kyle Israel
Brandon Sumner
Michael Greco
Rob Calabrese
Brett Hodges
Jeff Godfrey
Blake Bortles

GO changes QBs more often than he changes underwear. He is like a super fan always thinking the new toy is better than the one he is currently playing with.

The most popular player on any team (particularly bad ones) is the backup QB.

Fletcher was great with a solid line and decent without one. In what world do you think Sammy Winder played in C-USA????

....that's true....my mistake....didn't have my morning mixture to get the head right 03-wink

Nix was a beast, but top 5??? I don't think so with the injuries and subsequent complications....

admitted my mistake....don't know what I was thinking other than I wasn't....

Fletcher was good in the open field (like any other back), but his tendency to turn his back to the tackle became increasingly sickening as the fumbles came at an alarming rate when he made that crazy ass jump in the air spin move

In 2005, and especially in 2006, Bradshaw was the only thing we had on offense. Everyone knew what was coming and he would still get his yards.

He created a new rushing statistic against UAB in '07. YWC. Yards Without Contact.

Roddy White should be #1 at WR.

joe webb is the only qb to pass for over 2000 and rush for over 1000 two seasons in a row. for that alone he should be top five.
