All politicians are evil. Please don't start putting words in my mouth. If I haven't said it, don't assume it.
These were your words.

But you're going to bang the drum for her, anyway.
All presidential elections in recent memory have been about picking the lsser of 2 evils. If she looks like that, I'll beat the drum. If you guys can give me a better alternative, I'll give 'em a look see. But I'll tell you up front. Any righty that appears to be carrying the water for the religious right won't get my vote.
Why the hatred for religion? All the freedoms of this country flow from religion.

Not sure about that, but it's equally true most war and strife stems from religion as well. For the record, I do not hate religion. I'm just afraid of the ways men forger religion into power.( forgive me Jackson Browne for the misquote)

People have enough stumbling blocks to accepting Jesus as it is. Christians don't need to add to it.

All the mass deaths of the last century were driven by godless governments - Hitler, Mao, Stalin, etc. Hundreds of millions of people slaughtered not by some religion, but often because of their religion.
Don't believe the big lie. There haven't been Christian wars of aggression for hundreds of years. Government is killer. Fear those who worship it.

Thats called damning with faint praise my friend. I'm not so sure many people who have had their lands and natural resources stolen from them under the guise of christian missionarey work would agree with you. But hey, I'm not gonna debate this one again right now. Let's just say you have your point of view and I have mine. The founding fathers saw the need to keep religion out of politics so they set things up that way. Let's not monkey with that.

Except the founding fathers didn't keep religion out of politics.
