Many have said that the NCAA has a rule concerning field color, but
that evidently was not passed, but uniform color in relation to field was:

UCA's is horrible too. Our guys hated playing on that turf - made them dizzy.

Regardless of the NCAA position on turf color or even if the home team is not allowed to wear a matching color, it still gives the home team an advantage because they are acclimated to it. Let alone the fact that it just looks awful.

The gray field is ugly as hell-at least not nearly as stupid looking as UCA's field

I thought the red and grey alternating every five yards that Lindenwood Stadium had
was really weird, but didn't mind it so much.

Watched an FCS playoff game on ESPN3 at Eastern Washington...had to turn it off. I was getting a bad headache

I watched about 10 minutes of that game and had to stop. Like you, it gave me a headache and was hurting my eyes.

Eastern Michigan needs something to draw fans. We went up there in 2010 and I was extremely disappointed with the lack of fan support. There was probably about 4,500 people there and at least 1,000 of that number were Bama State fans.

Our AD wanted to do some crazy field stuff, but luckily Berry is more traditional. They did use hawk heads as the arrows by the numbers and some hawk claws on the field as a compromise. It looks great!

I couldn't open the links for some reason - but how does the uniform color thing work in regards to a team wearing Green?

Can they not do a "Green out" with green jerseys and pants? I can see green with white numbers and helmet stripe being hard to see.

If you count the playoffs, they are 16-4 at home since the NC year of 2010.
That would be 2011-13.
Remove the playoffs and it's 10-2.

NMSU's new field turf.... In Green!!!

I actually don't mind the gray at all. It's my favorite so far of all these multi-colored fields. It doesn't stress me out to look at it. The gray is rather dull sorta like their game... I'm waiting for the day Tennessee comes out with a checker board orange and white field, now that would be crazy!
