I see no bitterness....not sure that is the right adjective you're going for.
You must realize that some Americans really are that stupid. They just are.
Plus bewbs.
When I see someone like Water's who enjoys making other people look stupid it shows that he's insecure of his own lack of education or intelligence
Indeed. Asking College students "who fought in the Civil War" or "who attacked at Pearl Harbor" and their not knowing is Watters making them look stupid. Seems they are doing that just fine themselves.
Course I guess there's some chance they never took a history part 1 or 2 class, so simply don't know instead of being completely stupid.
No, actually, there is no chance of that. Just stupid.

No, it just proves how stupid some people are. I mean, these aren't difficult questions he's asking.
Just because someone doesn't know something about politics or history doesn't mean that they're stupid just ignorant
They did not ask when or where the first shots were fired. He did not ask who was leading armies... He asked who we were fighting to gain independence from..
That's a freaking 2nd grade civics problem (at most)... As a teacher this should *outrage* you, because it's your profession that is failing these people.
The problem is schools are so busy trying to work victim studies and poly sex ed into the k12 platform that they are not getting across basic US history.

Heck, he never cared. When he should have been instructing students he'd be here trying to instruct us.

Yeah, that's his gig. Me makes people uncomfortable which is funny. Some folks have no sense of humor.
He "makes people uncomfortable" by being a creep and hitting on 19 year olds. Good for Cornell for kicking him off campus.

Quote:Shortly after Fox News producer Jesse Watters hit the pavement at Cornell University on Oct. 26 to investigate students’ “liberal bias,” he got bounced by the school’s media relations department, according to a report from Syracuse.com.
...
Watters’ efforts to unmask “liberal indoctrination” drew the university’s ire after he asked students if they burned incense in class, “smoked doobies,” or wanted to house Guatemalan immigrants on their floors.
...
Watters asked the tough questions, like this one: “I’m going to give you a test to see if you’ve been indoctrinated and how bad it is. Do you think we should build a wall at the Southern border to protect against the illegal alien invasion?”
After the student laughed off Watters, he asked her out.
“Do you have a ‘make America great again hat?’ Can I buy you one?’” Watters said.
“You can’t buy me anything.”
“Dinner?”
“OK, this got weird.”
Stay classy, Fox News!

lol, that was the funniest bit. It was all obviously tongue-in-cheek, but you knew that.

I suspect the girl didn't know that. I suspect she complained to the administration and got the creep kicked off campus.
In fairness to Watters, he probably is just taking cues from his sleazy sexual harasser of a boss.

RE: Watters' World
Just quizzed my HS kid on a handful of the questions in the Jones Beach (?) episode. Nailed them all. INCLUDING dates. Finished up with a perplexed look on his face as I hadn't said why I was asking, "I'm not stupid, Dad".
I laughed as it confirmed those that are.

So she didn't know, despite their getting her permission to interview her and then permission to air the interview. Got it.
"This is a campus of diversity", excepting of course a diversity of thought. Oh, and the $65,000 annual price tag.

Well if she didn't then my original premise was correct.

That's not stupid that's ignorant. Not knowing the difference between stupid and ignorant?
Now that's stupid.
