You're absolutely right. No way we should be accepting any Missouri scum on our team. Huge risk to our team. 05-stirthepot

I can't imagine why that waiver would be approved.

Ill bet the first time he steps off the straight and narrow he gets canned. Then he'll go to a G5 or FCS team. In the not so distant past he'd end up at UNA.

I can see second or third chances for Pot, Traffic violations, misdemeanor issues but These Clowns that Attack and injure people is way over the top. Most could be felonious. When youpush Someone down a stairway thats intent to seriously maime or Kill someone. Also these recent cases where incoming Freshmen beat up Girlfriends or other women including Our own Freshman recruit down in Florida earlier this Year should end any P5 school from accepting Them. You have to draw a line and stick with it.

Yeah I agree. Violent offenses cannot be tolerated and schools should be unified with not accepting these kids who commit violent crimes.

I'm a Stoops guy, but this was a bad decision.

Oh come on. I was kidding. My parents lived in Marshall, MO for years. I even attended games at Columbia, 30 mins away.

I was just responding to your barb about people making comments about the SEC when no one had said a thing.

During previous discussions on this board, people have made statements regarding how the SEC handles trouble. Additionally, one of the reasons given for OU not moving to the SEC was due to the SEC culture which OU wanted no part of. Signing up DGB doesn't really support that theory. Maybe this kid will change, but he worries me. A kid in Nebraska named Lawrence Philips comes to mind. He liked to throw 100 lb women down stairs as well. Ended bad for him. I have no problem with OU. Just think it was a bad decision made for national championship reasons and school profits but that is across the board anymore.04-cheers

I agree that Stoops made a poor decision in bringing in DGB. And OU's past isn't so clean that we have any moral high ground vs. the SEC's reputation. I personally feel if the Big12 were to ever break up that OU would wind up in the SEC. But that might just be my wishful thinking.

Phillips beat up Scott Frost. (6'3 220 NU QB and NFL safety) in the process of doing that iirc. Just out of control.

As a St Louis native and Rams fan, he was the biggest first round draft flop in Rams history. Coach put a lot of time and effort on him...all for nothing.

I wish OU and OSU would both come to the SEC as a pair. That would be off the charts for the SEC.04-cheers
