RE: GRIZZ in San Diego?
My wife and I recently vacationed in San Diego. It was my first time there. I'd move tomorrow if I could. What a great town.

A lot of the locals we talked to were apologizing to us for June gloom, which meant a few clouds in the AM. I couldn't help but laugh. Meanwhile back home it was 90 and humid.

The weather there is perfect. The beaches are beautiful. Gaslamp is second to none. If it weren't so expensive, everyone would be moving that way.

Yep, cost of living is definitely higher than norm, but I guess you get what you pay for. Having a good paying job helps out a lot though. 03-wink Yea the June gloom thing is hilarious.

I love SD.

Great weather, nice people.

Negative? - scary approach for an airplane landing

For such a large city to have only one major runway is absurd

Not San Diego, but a baseball player (can't remember who) was asked his coldest winter once and said "June in San Francisco."

Definitely a great place. Our family owns a bed and breakfast on Coronado, my favorite place is LaJolla.

I froze my tail off on the Bay one July. My son moved to San Diego a little over a year ago. He misses the green in Memphis.
