OT - anyone read the book Unbroken?
Louis Zamperini died yesterday at the marvelous age of 97. If you haven't read the book, do yourself a favor and do it before a movie comes out this Christmas on the book and Zamperini's amazing life.

He competed in the 1936 Olympics and then was a POW in WW II who suffered unbelievable conditions at the hands of some brutal Japanese commanders. This after surviving a miraculous 47 day period of being adrift in the Pacific Ocean with no food or water.

Through it all, he was never 'unbroken' and went on to lead a miraculous life after the war. He was also a huge USC sports fan and was set to be the Rose Bowl Parade Grand Marshall next year.

Again, it was an amazing book and I hope the film does him justice. RIP to a true American hero.
