If your team was an 80s or 90s wrestler who would it be?
Ridiculous I know but it's the dog days of summer so I gotta come up with something. Besides, I was a huge wrestling fan when I was a little kid in the late 80's and early 90's. What else would you expect from an ECU guy (Vince McMahon, majority owner, Chairman, and CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is also an ECU alum).
For ECU, I would have to go with Stone Cold Steve Austin. His symbol is a scull, he drinks a lot of beer, he's rowdy, he's anti-authority/ anti-establishment, you either love him or you hate him, etc.

I have a few answers for this but the first thing I think of is how "different" New Orleans is. Some people love it, some people hate and many people have no idea what to feel about it. To them they just think it is different and kind of weird and it takes on many personalities.

We're pretty quiet, and we may not look like we can beat the big dogs... but we'll take it to you!
I can see that but Sting actually turned down the invite when he was called up to the WWE ("AAC").
There's rumor that Tulsa turned down a football only offer to the Big East prior to the C7 fiasco? It's more than likely a falsehood, but, it kinda fits?

Connecticut is Macho Man Randy Savage... we won some titles but never seem to get the accolades we deserve for some reason. Also we made some mistakes and are stuck outside looking in. Much like Macho Man was with the WWE at the end.

I have to go with Mankind.
As an AAU member I sort of view Tulane as Macho Man's brother, The Genius.

Ric Flair is actually from Memphis and lives in NC..
funny story, he had a kid at UNC and would go up to chapel hill to visit his son every now and then. I guess when he turned 21 he went up to hit the bars with him. Every male chapel hill student followed flair around one of the bars all night yelling "WOOOO!" Eventually flair got on the microphone and said "look, I'm really flattered y'all get a kick out of my wrestling career, but I'm trying to enjoy some time with me kid. Please refrain from screaming "woo" for the enjoyment of myself and the other patrons. Thank you."
No less than 3 seconds after he got off the MIC the entire bar erupted in "WOOO's" and he left. I think the majority of the guys were on the baseball team....one of the former baseball players told me that story.

Sorry Indiana but that is too easy and too soft. I guess that is what people think about us in the present but my hope is that the future will show something a little different. Not sure how good we will be in 2014 but this team, especially or more so the defense is not the same Tulane people remember.

WVU would be The Berserker. Even though he is supposed to be a Viking he kind of looks and acts like how the WV Mountaineers (mascot & fans included) behave.
