I can't say we wanted to end up here. It's not an optimal solution for either party.

Right now it doesn't sound like you have any other FBS option though.
A couple of good seasons could change everything for Idaho though.

realistically i hope the big 12 makes a move and somehow we get shifted this way but i don't see it yet. Maybe 4 more years. some how the MW is affected helps us a ton.

Welcome! I'm interested in seeing how it plays out having you and NMSU in the belt. I don't think it's that bad of a deal, really...we get state flagships (or close, in NMSU's case) with FBS history and away games that we'd be flying to anyway. You get a conference home while the dust settles. Looking forward to the new Sun Belt!
