RE: Burger King to start selling gay burgers
I hardly eat fast food, but there are two 'restaurants' in that category that I consider out of bounds: Taco Bell and Burger King. BK supporting LGBT rights won't get me to eat there (even if I agree with them), and I find this to be a relatively pointless marketing ploy.

If you have a gay employee a the register I don't care.
If you have a gay friendly benefit package I don't care.
If you give money to gay causes I don't really care.

When you turn your product into a symbol for sodomy pride... Now I'll just go eat elsewhere..

Wait. What?

Who cares? I'm no more or less inclined to eat there than before this announcement.

BK sucks. They sucked yesterday. They suck today. Odds are they'll suck tomorrow.
Not to mention they are targeting...what..... .04 to .05

Lots of money? sheeat is funny

What? NO taco bell? Shame on ya!! :) (although I agree with you about BK.. can't stand their food.. horribly cooked, miserably packaged (even before this promotion))

That being said... this could either result in a small increase from the gay community. Or it's gonna kill their business as social cons don't go there until this promotion is done... (but I guess that'd MObama happy.. then we'd eat less fast food I guess?)

I'm good with it. Not going to make a special trip to the BK Lounge, but overall, its a positive message.

LazyTom, it is an illusion. Its not a positive message, it is marketing, nothing more, it is an illusion.

You are so easily deceived. It is mostly pathetic.

This reminds me of the Michael Jackson hamburger joke….
50-year-old meat between 10-year-old buns.

In related news, Consumer Reports has found that Burger King's burgers aren't very good. But they also found that Chik'Fil'A has the best chicken sandwich. You can draw your own conclusion on the correlation between support for gays and food quality.

Fast food rankings

Why Taco Bell, at least they use real beef. BK and McDonald's likely use rat penises among other parts which makes what BK is doing especially appropriate.

WHAT!?? I always heard it was a 35 year old piece of meat between two fresh buns, but that was in the mid 90's so there ya go.

That's awesome, mainly because anyone that disagrees with the CEO of CFA says their sammiches taste like shiit and that's all they could talk about during and after Appreciation Day... Knowing damn good and well CFA has the best chicken sandwiches...

What about the cow's rights? Cows have rights too you know. Not sure a straight cow will want it's meat being labled as "gay".

I’m guessing Cows prefer the term lesbian, except for the bull dykes.

If I want fast food Mexican (and I use that term loosely), I'll just stick to Chipotle or Qdoba. I had Taco Bell only once, and I'm never going back.

I never cared for their food anyway but I'm pretty sure their position didn't hurt their business one bit.
