RE: A New Weapon to Look at UCL Issues
What a great article, Tiki. Lots of good news in the development of that product. The real pay-off will be when serious organizations start to use it in a widespread fashion..and the incidence of TJ surgery comes down. Very intriguing fact about the Brewers. They are the only MLB club with NO TJ surgery this year..and they have been following the biomechanics guidelines for the past 5 years and have the lowest rate of TJ surgery in MLB during that time. If the sleeve can help provide similar results..it should be adopted ASAP.
However, baseball is one of the most tradition-bound organizations in the world..sorta like surgery. Cognitive dissonance is the norm. I would be surprised if we see this device used in most clubs anytime soon.
