WVU has it toughest.
Bama, Maryland, and one of the best FCS teams are the only games other than a brutal 9 game Big 12 schedule where only KU figures to be easy. That is a crazy gauntlet and might get their coach fired.

Towson lost EVERYTHING last year. WVU should cruise in that one.

I don't care who Indiana or Virginia play. Their chances of getting to the playoffs would be almost nil even if they played half as many good teams.

aww, poor P5 teams have a "difficult path" to the playoffs. So sad.
- Every G5 school.

The article is pure BS arrogance.
When will the pundits realize that college football is more than the P5? 9 out of 10 G5 teams have a harder path than any of the schools they featured.
Does anyone believe that none of the mid-majors have as hard a path as these 10 schools?

Fair enough that the G5 have a tougher road to tow. However, this is more about toughest schedules. I'd argue Rutgers has one of the top 10 toughest schedules. Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State at home with Washington State, Navy, Maryland, Michigan State, Nebraska and Ohio State on the road. Tulane and Indiana at home are no pushovers either this year.

I would argue that every G5 team has tougher schedule than any P5 team because they never get to play more than 1 team per season that they have a significant financial advantage over. All P5 teams, even the bottom ones, thanks to the unfair revenue distribution of the former BCS, current CFP contracts, are advantage over most of their OOC competition.
