We should have the NU kickoff time today.

ESPN had to let the B1G know their picks for the first 3 weeks by midnight last night.

The rest of the games would just go on BTN.

I bought my UNLV tickets today. Julie said that the actual tickets have not been sent by UNLV yet, but they will be here in a couple of weeks. Distribution will be 2nd week of August.

I am going to do a little bit of looking in to this as far as where visitor section is. The "real" cost of the game will be pretty high considering flying out there, car rental, hotel, etc. so I don't want us relegated to a corner in the stadium with bad views of the field. I believe $35 is the going rate for games there whether purchased thru NIU or thru UNLV.

Been looking into info on Sam Boyd Stadium to see where the visitor section is. Best I can find is the visitor sideline is the east side opposite the press box. So depending on time of day for the game, we could be looking into the sun. From a forum post I found:

"The whole east side of Sam Boyd stadium catches the sun at the end of the day. As far as the seating the stadium only holds 40k so there really isn't that bad of seat anywhere."

In Sam Boyd Stadium, Section 106, 107, 108 is behind the visitors sideline. 30 yd lines to 50 yd. line.

That's big news! Haven't seen a game time anywhere else yet. Was kind of hoping for a 7 p.m. - cooler temps - kickoff time.

Agreed. That's a brutal time. I thought UNLV only played night games at home.

Sure would be nice to know the time and make plans while I celebrate the 4th with a 5th.

Love the kickoff time. Means I have plenty of time to hit the strip afterwards.

Just purchased two hotel rooms at the Luxor 9/11 to 9/15. got a good deal via my mlife card. Totals were $408 and $543 which included $25 in free play. Will fly out after work on Thursday and fly back on Monday. Have a total of 8 going out for the game, and I can not wait. Hopefully the bookies call it even and we get +3 on the line. Huskies finished weak in the final two games and hopefully the line will take that into account. If so, will be looking to go heavy on the huskies! My buddy said there's a fight at MGM on Saturday night, so room rates are going to go up, so book early.
