They did it with sleep aids...it's not birth control, Hobby Lobby, it's "menstrual cycle stabilization" pills...a side effect is you can't get preggers.
Brilliant.
Is 'Menstrual cycle instability' an ICD-10 diagnosis code?
I'm not sure but menorrhagia and metrorrhagia certainly are billable as excessive premenopausal uterine bleeding under ICD 10 guidelines.
I thought the court only ruled on abortificants. Did they actually rule that hormonal birth control was excluded or is the left blowing things out of proportion?
You are correct. I was replying to Memphis' hypothetical.
Memphis...
The question is whether being pregnant qualifies as a disease or a choice and that is why I asked it the way I did.
As BRE alludes, if a contraceptive is an acceptable treatment for premenopausal uterine bleeding, and a side effect is that it keeps you from getting pregnant, then that would likely be covered even if the policy precluded contraception... unless it precluded coverage for premenopausal uterine bleeding (which I doubt)

You're occasionally better than this stupidity. The Pill? As in the "The Pill" circa 1964 or so?!? That's what you think this was about? And you link "other reasons" when that is 100% irrelevant and this isn't even the item in dispute? You're not even trying anymore. Not even trying.

Would those be covered by the insurance that Hobby Lobby is willing to provide? Is the pill one of the 16 forms of birth control that is covered? If so, what is the problem?
