That Kenneth Dixon poster looks like he just got a hot foot or he hit his finger with a hammer. It's stupid.

It's "Protect The M"

I'm a die hard Marshall fan and I'm not afraid to admit this poster looks pretty lame. I like that we are embracing the "Protect the M" motto, but we need some better graphic artists.

The guy in the middle with his back to #1. Is that Thor or football Jesus? He looks ready to drink beer and play ball.

I was about to say, that looks like a messed up version of the Last Supper.

I don't get why 'Protect the M' is so hard to see. I guess I've just seen it tweeted a lot from Marshall related twitter accounts for the last year.

Well, if an internet poster says it's stupid, then it must be. 07-coffee3

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that we're supposed to protect the M, but then they butcher the M themselves in the poster? Compare the M they are standing on to the M at the top? The script "The Herd" isn't proportioned properly. Where's the black outline? Why is the shade of green off? Shouldn't they have taken their own advise and protected the M?

The second guy from the right didn't heed the message to look mean. HEY, I said mean. No smiling.

For only a few times I like UTEPs poster, with the legends of yesteryear. Yes, we did have a yesteryear as hard as that is to fathom.

I'm not quite sure why they spelled out "Two Thousand And Fourteen"

Just takes away from it.

well, it looks like the first USM one is out (not thrilled with the SMTTT addition on the poster... we use that as a negative on the internet)

RE: 2014 schedule posters
real talk Herd fans, you have one of the greatest logos in college sports-

I wish you would use that on everything- posters, shirts, center field, center court, etc. It's so original you don't know even notice that's its basically a Block M logo. I would buy a t shirt with that logo and I'm an Ohio fan. It rocks.

And regarding the motto "protect the M", I've got to ask-

[Image: marshall-logo-250.jpg][Image: Split-M-Maize-bar.jpg][Image: resource-BlockMlogo.jpg][Image: ?width=575&height=575&productid=13299][Image: blockm.gif][Image: GQMVLIMYZUAYCJG.20110804185518.jpg][Image: MBar_Black_3c_186.jpg]

are you really protecting the M? And why would you not stick with We Are Marshall as the motto? It's so much better, and meaningful.

Really like how all three of our posters have different cities - Shreveport, Ruston and Monroe.

To make matters worse about the Protect The Herd. Here's our ugly 2014 student section shirts.

And our old ones which I wanted one so bad.
