A lot of guys listed ahead of Roy Williams without his accomplishments.

Jim Boehiem at SU being #12 is an absolute JOKE.

Look at some of the names in front of him. It's laughable.

I knew someone would rip Josh for this ranking.

He is also ranked ahead of R Barnes, JT III, and Scott Drew.

Heck if based off the last 10 years...Cal should be very close to 1...When you make 4 final fours in 7 years you really can't take much away from the guy. I still say he is not a great floor coach...But hell he doesn't have to be.

There is no real selection criteria given. For instance:
Richard Pitino is at 49. He's only coached 2 years and hasn't made the NCAA in either year.
Archie Miller at 26 is in his 3rd year at Dayton and it was his first tournament.
Tim Miles at 32 is in his 2nd year at Nebraska and has a record barely above .500 and lost his first game in the tournament.
Bob Huggins is at 30 and has won 739 games.
Mick Cronin is at 27 and has won 231 games.
Bruce Pearl, Brad Underwood and Michael White didn't make the top 50.

The only thing they mention is that it is based on "now," NOT on career accomplishments. But they don't define "now," and as you said, even the recent accomplishments, by coach, seem out of order on the list.

Maybe those things are designed into the list in order to generate the most possible debate and discussion.
