Bernie don't know squat if he's saying that San Antonio is the Mexican food capital when they're not even clooooosssseeee to Mexico. I've eaten Mexican food in S.A. for comparison and there is NONE, El Paso has them beat. Theirs resemble Taco Bell or franchises like that. 03-nutkick

What's more did anyone catch that whomever made that map has Cd.Juarez in it instead of El Paso? Pretty good dig at UTEP if you ask me. 05-mafia

That guy's name isn't Bernie, that's the name of the movie this clip came from. Also, I wouldn't get too worked up over him mentioning San Antonio instead of El Paso. I believe the character was just listing the most well known cities and their identifiers to represent the region they are in. South Texas is Tex Mex, East Texas is where Texas transitions from Southwest to South, Austin is weird, etc.

Take UTEP and couple of others off of this one, and you have C-TBA.

The whole thing could've been avoided if CUSA had asked UTEP, Rice, USM, and Marshall to step down, while the BE did the same with UConn, CIncy, and USF.

I don't think anyone needed to step down. We could've just gone to 16 with UCONN, Cincy, USF & Temple.

The map looks like a beast. A tiger or lion maybe?

Texas trivia (which I learned from my roommate at Rice who was from El Paso)... the trip from El Paso to Los Angeles is almost exactly the same distance as El Paso to Houston... rotate 180 degrees Texas from the Westernmost point (El Paso) and it reaches the Pacific... rotate Texas from the Easternmost point (Beaumont), and it reaches the Atlantic... rotate Texas from the Panhandle at the north and it reaches Canada

Don't rotate Texas at all and it reach Mexico.

Superimpose Alaska over Texas and Texas disappears.

I think I done.

Not quite. Still have Tulane in this one. Good job nonetheless

That T is for Louisiana Tech.

Re-emphasizing how big Texas is:

I have always found this to be quite fascinating in putting into perspective conference realignment.

No disrespect intended to UNT, but there are no words to describe the depth of my hatred for that green flag. It makes me want to puke, as I am sure it does every son of the Lone Star State who has no ties to the Mean Green.

OK. Got that off my chest -- again.
