Still say all sports should be like baseball. Have the option to go pro out of high school but if you go to college you must remain through your Jr year.

NBA likes it as is because they get to market their draft picks for one year on the NCAA's dime. Then they have "stars" before they've ever played an NBA game.

NFL likes it as is due to liability. They can't put HS boys out there against 25 year old steroid-juiced men.

MLB has their own development system, so they don't need college to market or develop their guys.

I agree, that I wish all were like MLB. I wish the NBA had a TRUE development system, and the only guys you got in college, wanted to be there. I don't expect it to change any time soon.
