I just met Jason Schepler & a young lady who played volleyball for NIU in the parking lot at Farm & Fleet here in my hometown. What a great surprise!

They parked next to my car as I was getting ready to put my purchases in...they noticed it right away because I have NIU stuff all over it. It's rare to see NIU anything here in Central IL! We chatted about Huskie football & he told me he is currently with Tennessee Titans. I wished him luck, told him we were all cheering for him & hoped he'd make their 53 man roster.

He's a great kid, it was a pleasure to meet him.

The young lady was probably his sister Justine. She played on the NIU V-ball team for four years and just graduated.

I don't think that was his sister. The young lady was from Morton, not Sycamore. Maybe Jason met her because of his sister.
At any rate it did make my day. It is very rare to see anything or anyone here NIU...so when I do see someone wearing NIU I always speak to them.
