This facility is world class Marshall. Congrats! I'm envious.

At 105,000 sqft its much smaller than Akron's 155,500 sqft IPF which is also fully equipped to hold indoor track meets.

http://www.gozips.com/athletics/facilities/stile

Again, not trying to be funny but I don't see how this can be the best in the country when its not even the best in the MAC. What am I missing?

I think it comes down to incorporating the academic center and sports medicine facility with the IAC. The top engineer from AE Com Sports who is in charge of the building the IAC, HoF, academic center and sports medicine facility said he had never seen or built anything like this together. And that Marshall would be the 1st.

Our student athletes will have a place to practice, learn/do research, be diagnosed with an injury and rehab all in the same encompassed area. This is what I see that sets Marshall's facility apart from others.

ok, I see, its not just the IPF, its the IPF plus the other parts combined that make it unique. That makes more sense. Thanks for clarifying and congrats.

So what is your excuse for posting in other Marshall threads that have no mention of WVU?

If a Lion doesn't concern himself with the opinions of sheep, why do you even care? As long as I've been posting on this board I've never seen Tarheel, Longhorn, Volunteer, Rebel, Crimson Tide, Gator, Tiger or Sooner fans compelled to defend their school's honor on a CUSA message board.

WVU rakes in boatloads of cash and is part of a group wanting to turn CFB into a Semi-Pro League for a select few that excludes all of us. You're not going to find much sympathy here when Herd fans are rubbing it in about Marshall's IAF being better than the one in Morgantown. Sorry.

Actually they only want 64 and there are 67 of them right now. In most scenarios Ive seen the Who is one of the 3 that is on the outside looking in.
