Obama visits Minneapolis
Obama is all over my 'hood. I respect the Office of the President of the United States of America and I think it's pretty cool all this went down in my stompin grounds.

Jucy Lucy's at Matt's Bar

Quote:Lunch is at Matt's Bar, "home of the Jucy Lucy." (See description below.) Matts is a small, dark corner bar in a typical, middle-class neighborhood. We passed a tattoo parlor and the Chatterbox Pub. The President and Rebekah are having lunch at Matt’s Bar, a Minneapolis landmark home to the “Jucy Lucy,” a burger with melted cheese in the middle of the patty.

I've probably sat in this both 2 or 3 times over the years:

RE: Obama visits Minneapolis
It was horrible. Four or five hours before his plane landed at Fort Bliss the cops had shut down the entrances and exits to Hwys 10 and 54, there were cops stationed at all of them and I recall asking myself how much was this costing the city and where would the cops be if some crimes went down. I also remember thinking about why this one human being is more deserving of protection than you or me or our families.

As for Biden, who would want to harm him? He's more dangerous alive and well than not.
