RE: Brady Davis Commits to Tigers!
Looks like a nice get. What I like is that he is listed as having offers from some other programs that have a good track record of finding players of the same caliber and fabric that CJF is after. Troy, USM, LaT, and EMU make a decent living doing it. Looks like USF was hot after him as well.

RE: Brady Davis Commits to Tigers!
To paraphrase:
He says his father didn’t pressure him into making the decision. Dad is Brian Davis who grew up in Memphis, attended the U of M and remains a fan of the Tigers’ athletic programs.
Brady is a 6-3, 195-pound pro-style quarterback, became the sixth verbal commitment of the 2015 class Wednesday, picking the U of M over several suitors, including Southern Miss, South Florida, Troy and Louisiana Tech.
dad says he had a good visit with coach Fuente and He likes the offense and he likes that the head coach is offensive-minded. CJF sealed the deal that night.
Brady always loved the Tigers and Memphis. He watched DeAngelo and Danny and went to basketball games a lot.
The Tigers offered Brady a day after U of M quarterbacks coach Brad Cornelsen watched him play against Brandon High in a mid-May spring game at Davis Wade Stadium on the Mississippi State campus. Brady passed for three touchdowns and ran for another in the game. Coach Fuente called the next night. They talked about coach Fuentes career at TCUS which Brady remembers, he thinks Tigers are about to explode.
Brady transferred to Starkville High in February after playing his first three seasons at New Hope High in Columbus. He left shortly after head coach Shawn Gregory was dismissed after one season.
As a junior at New Hope, Brady passed for 2,626 yards and 23 touchdowns to boost his three-year totals to 3,927 yards and 40 TDs. He was able to transfer without penalty because his mother lives in Starkville.
Brady is a two-star prospect according to Scout and Rivals, He will run the spread option at Starkville High, which reached the second round of the Class 6A playoffs last fall. He will talk up Memphis to a lot of guys, too.

I don't think that is paraphrasing.

cut me some slack. I didn't just cut-n-paste, it has been reworded. Besides it is now in print!

This. Played HS ball with Brady' s uncle and his dad helped coach my 7th and 8th grade team. Good folks! His dad told me a couple months agao that Brady wanted to be a Tiger all along.

Tons of D-1 HS talent in the Memphis in the next 3 or 4 classes for sure. Whitehaven & MUS alone have 10 between them in the next two classes.
