My view from Section 305 row Q last year for Old Dominion's game last year. 4 Tickets on Stubhub were $33.95. Anyone in the upper reaches of the 300's should easily be able to move down.

RE: Maryland Seating Recommendations
Guys, we played at UM two seasons ago so I want to offer a few nuggets. Most visitor tailgating is on a blacktop lot with very little grass in the area...something to consider if you plan to bring your youngins'.

Visitor seating is in direct sunlight all game.

The tailgate bus system takes a long time to get to the stadium so give yourself at least 30 mins before gametime.

UM crowd is tame.

Thanks Tribal. When we played there in 2009(?), we parked in a surface lot near a parking garage. Walked a little ways through campus & past Cole Field House before getting to the stadium. Memory tells me it wasn't that long of a walk, but we were definitely drinking, so...

Section 305 15-20 Dukes fans of all ages. Upper deck 40 yard line. I've got 20 seats in total. I may have some extras I will give to JMU fans. Message me closer to the game date if you want any.

Lot 11A, 4B or 4J pay parking for tailgate. It's a bit of a hike, but this is the area where most pay parking is concentrated. The lots around the Comcast Center.

Of the lots mentioned above where is everyone planning to tailgate or has tailgated in the past?

Would need to dig around in emails to figure out where we were last time. Not THAT familiar with campus geography at College Park. Parked in a cash surface lot last time near a parking deck last time. Had to hike a little ways to stadium, including past their old basketball field house, but it wasn't that bad if you're a healthy adult.

It was the Black cash permit parking lot. You received a Black permit with tickets through JMU last time, but even with the permit you had to pay cash to enter. It was filled with JMU folks. All of the tailgating was in the surface lot, which filled up fairly quickly, with the remainder of people parking in the garage next to the lot and then tailgating in the surface lot.

.8 mi walk from the Black lot Mowatt Lane Garage (which is next to the Black Lot tailgate lot) to stadium.

Looked up on weather.com & said avg high for 8/30 in Collge Park is 84. If its going to be brutal hot & humid and you don't want to tailgate one option is to take the Metro in. 1.6 mi walk to stadium from Metro Stop, or hope on their "Quick Bus" which runs 3 hrs before the game till 30 min after every 10-15 minutes, drops off pretty close to stadium.

Quoting myself means I'm a big deal, so you guys listen up. For clarity's sake, this parking map shows I was talking about MV in the upper left corner. Not that big of a lot, but you can also park in the garage (MLG) & join folks in the lot. You do need to buy your pass in advance. No cash lots anymore from what I understand. SO WHO'S TAILGATING HERE? IS THIS WHERE IT'S GOING DOWN?

Unlike Showker on our fine campus, they have left the building at the end of this lot open for restrooming when we were there in 2009. Just an added perk for those who care.

Don't think there are any free lots. At least none within stadium walking distance.
