All we can do is offer, and hope that a high ranked Arkansas kid will come here. Off-hand, I can't think of one we have gotten-ever. Maybe Muntrelle Dobbins, who committed to UNO, but flipped late after they pissed him off. This kid already has an offer from WKU and Wichita State is now recruiting him. We won't get him, but glad to see we are trying.

Sure never hurts to try. I have to assume that we make contact with ever high ranked player in the State. We can probably tell pretty quickly if putting effort into their recruitment will be worth it. I would also assume we tell every really high ranked kid (ex. Archie Goodwin) that they have an offer if they want one. Never know when a kid's priorities may change- sick parent, hot girlfriend, or whatever.

I like us recruiting kids that the other good teams are recruiting.

And Ole Miss is interested. And if he is the type kid who wants to stay home, he has an offer from his home town school as well. Hard to imagine a kid turning down an ACC school to play in the Belt, unless there extenuating circumstances for him wanting to stay in State (ex. girlfriend, sick family member, etc.)
