Chad Frazier attending Nike Skills Camp
The stuff some of y'all say man it's beyond nuts! Haha thank goodness none of you all are nba scouts/gms nor judges or administrators.

Guys sit on here and dog a kid but really have no clue as to what their talking about. I guess that's the beauty in messages boards right?

Let's get something's straight. Chads invite to this camp is a massive deal! You look at who has been in the past, and it's all pros for the most part. Not only is it a chance to work with the best on his skills but get exposure at the same time. The whole he's not a point and he won't make it crap is a joke. Facts are teams are going with bigger combo guards to lead teams now thus the reason chad is at UAB also the reason nba teams came to bham to see him this year and the reason you'll see guys in this draft that aren't "true points" get taken early Thursday! "Know the game" 03-wink it's the way the game is going now.

As for his legal situation, I have sat a watched folks clown and pick I'll get things to my self but i will tell you I don't fore see him off the team or out of the school like some are wishing. No, not because he's the best player on this team but due to facts! Trust me!

A lot of truth in what he says though.

I agree as well. Chad didn't get invited because he is a mediocre player.

He and/or She did have good points in their post.

Chad is a really good player, but I just don't think he's a natural point guard. Yes, he'd likely play point in the NBA, so I get why he plays the position for us and is at this camp. This is a really big deal for him and for us.

I hope he's our starting point this season, Rob and Ha Ha on the wing beats Swing and Ruck any day. Which team(s) have been successful running the combo guard over the true point guard? Also the better Chad's play get hopefully leads to more wins and more scouts for guys like Rob, Ha Ha, and Mehinti.

Chad takes too many shots for a point guard, then again a lot of point guards in the NBA do as well.

Glad we could get some solid analysis on the "clowning and picking" of his legal situation.05-stirthepot

RE: Chad Frazier attending Nike Skills Camp
Chad took a lot of shots because the shooting around him was pathetic. This nike skills camp is an NBA showcase/training camp, I think. He has more than enough potential to play in the NBA. Cut him a break, he's a SG who can distribute and he was asked was to distribute to others as a PG. Others who couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat. He's still learning PG. That team last season was NCAA bound had we held onto Dayshawn Watkins.

RE: Chad Frazier attending Nike Skills Camp
I'm not talking trash about him, and I understand the circumstances of why he took so many shots. The point (no pun intended) still stands that he is a small shooting guard who happens to play pretty decently at the point. If he's going that route for the NBA or overseas, he has to cut down on his turnovers. I'm mostly OK with the number of shots he takes, because he is that good of a player. I think the number of shots is also a function of his talent and ability to score, not necessarily that he's a ball hog. Like someone else said, a lot of NBA point guards are like that now. There are very few true, pass first point guards anymore. I'm fine with him starting at point guard, but if we can get some solid stretches in games where Norton or Watts are running the point, Chad could be dynamite at his natural 2G position.

"Came back"? What was his alternative?

NBDL then the draft.
