I thought they were putting in a whole new practice court floor. What are they refinishing?

The floor.

Will be getting a new floor for Convo--from one of the NCAA regional sites this past season.

Victor E. Court was warping badly near the entrance the last time I was there.....it needed some help pretty badly over there....though I think the rest of the court was relatively flat.

And the convo desperately needed a new floor after suffering me hitting it with a hammer for like 6 years.

Its been warped over there since at least the 2011 HASF kickoff.

Yesterday and today they sanded down the floor removing all the old markings...and hopefully fixing the warped entry way.

I still have nightmares.

I was one of the very first employees of the convo. Paid really well for a university gig but I still hated it.

Man, let me tell you something...Patton was a scary dude. I never would've had the guts to attack him with a sledge.

Was kinda hoping for something more flashy but really its only shown off for competition for VB and otherwise used as a practice gym or covered with mats.

When I started there it was great pay for a student job, but then once minimum wage went up they just kept the pay at minimum wage. That court was not worth the pay.

I wish they would do something more like Charlotte. Their new honeycomb floor is cool.
