Well said. And your comment has made me realize this was the subconscious reason I stopped watching SportsCenter too.

I haven't gone in depth, but I love the site at first glance. I'm sure there will be critics any minute now.

I also can't stand sportscenter because of less highlights and more annoying "experts" voicing their opinions.

I like the new look, but the most important pieces aren't there yet, so I'm going to say that this is disappointing.

First, I wanted to see the new Madizone, but that doesn't look like it's functioning yet. Really glad they stepped away from NeuLion though.

Second, the donation/ticketing areas are still the same. The login and navigation for that is terrible.

the schedule for the football team goes all the way back to the first season in 1972. I don't believe the old site had that information. very impressed there.

I also like that the schedule page has links on the name of each opponent directing you to their official athletics website.

I really like the new site. Kudos JMU.

The one thing I'll say is lacking is the Duke Dog... See very little of our beloved mascot - maybe JMU is making a concerted effort to brand the letter logo than the mascot

The roster does not include any transfers except Lee

transfers weren't enrolled until the first summer session. Lee was the only one here for spring semester.

All I know is that the NCAA says an FCS team cannot exceed 95 at the start of practice.

still looks like a bunch of spots to hit 95, will be interesting to see updates as we get closer to the season. Still think there are some additional freshmen to hit as well. (Etheridge brothers for example)

Oh and those in summer classes had their photos taken last week with the new jacket and ties. The team is required to wear Jacket and Tie to the stadium on game day. Withers has a dress code for players. IE no saggy pants, no sleeveless shirts in the dining hall etc....
