Depends on where they immigrate to. If they go to any town America then yeah, they'll blend in easily. But if they end up in a large city they'll find that there isn't only a European community, but a lot of the time their specific culture probably has its own neighborhood.

Italians, Irish, German, Russian, Armenians, Ukrainians, Scandinavians, etc all have neighborhoods where they cluster and never assimilate.

Pretty broad generalization. I would rather say most do assimilate, particularly if they immigrate at a young age. Older you are, harder to change.

The goal is to wipe out a person's heritage, traditions, since of pride. Once we are all "brown", we will be the same. Total demise of culture..

It is a pretty broad generalization, but that's how it is in bigger cities where there is enough of a foreign population to do that.

This is my experience as well. The only thing I would say is that first generation people really do have a hard time with english. Their kids overall assimilate very well.

Tell me Duke, what is a brown person? I've never seen one. Are they the ones that stay on the beach sans umbrellas trying to "brown" their skins? I hope they do a better job of educating students at JM then what you're demonstrating. No such thing Duke.

Aha, I think I understand who you are referring to. You're referring to Hispanics, right? But, unfortunately, race isn't determined by the color of a persons skin otherwise if you're white, you'd be thought of as "pink" instead.

Haha, well if you take most people in the world. Most people are some shade of brown. I know that's not what he's referring to but I just wanted to throw it out there.
