Thanks Hoopla, they really are. I can't afford the donation for club or plaza, so this is pretty much as good as it's gonna get. I have been working towards row A for years. Last year I was very close. A couple one number ahead of us last year took the only open row A seats in the house. I feel like I really lucked out. Isle seats is definitely a huge plus.

That's nice too, love the TV. But there is something about being there, especially during / after a big win. The crowd is electric.

Not bad, at all. Great view. Never underestimate the benefits of aisle seats.

RE: My new view (FF)!
???
I just moved to another section and added another seat and they told me that I would get a seat selection notice to potentially get better same-section seats but I've received nothing.
Did seat selection already occur?

It has. Yesterday and today. And open house this afternoon.
Quote:Dear Memphis Tiger Alumni,
Have you always wanted to get some great seats for Tiger Basketball? Well, now is your chance! The annual Memphis Tigers Men's Basketball seat selection is taking place on Thursday, June 19th & Friday, June 20th at the FedExForum. Head coach Josh Pastner will be present from 4 - 5 pm on Friday, June 20th.
A few highlights-
Playing in our 2nd season in the American Athletic Conference against teams like Cincinnati, Houston, SMU, and defending National Champion UConn. We will also have a home game against nationally ranked Oklahoma State.
Ticket and donation prices will be the same for the third straight year.
For those purchasing new seats, you will get an opportunity for a locker room tour. You will also be entered for a drawing to win a fully catered football suite for one game this fall for those upgrading or buying new seats.
Parking in the FedExForum during the event is free.
If you are a current donor you can contact 901-678-2334 to make an appointment for Thursday, June 19th or Friday, June 20th. Those times will be given by priority. If you are not currently a Tiger Scholarship Fund Donor we invite you to come to our Open House from 4:00 - 6:00 PM on June 20th!
With your help, we will make the FedExForum the toughest place to play in the American Athletic Conference!

Congrats!
I struck out, again, on moving to a slightly better seat out of the rain clouds.
Really? How come? There were some pretty good seats available when I was there. Also as people upgrade, they release their seats. I've upgraded 4 today and my seats for the last few years were pretty good. Sec. 209, row E right behind the handicap section. They will more than likely hold another open house, they usually do a little later in the year. You should check it out.
One problem, I guess, is I do not live in Memphis and asked the staff to act as my proxy. I cannot afford to take off work for it. The results have been less than satisfying.

I see. I wish I would have known, I would have done it for you. Next time ask, I am sure there are people here that would not mind helping if they are going anyway. And with cell phone cameras and being able to take a pic and text it to you, you'd know exactly what you were getting. I don't think I'll be going back next year. I'll probably keep these seats forever unless I win the lottery or something.

Thank you for your kind offer and good idea. I may ask my brother to go on my behalf next year. He often attends the games with me and would enjoy a better view.

It's hard to imagine you can't afford the donation with that nice house, yard, and blue SUV you got, but I know what you mean, my dad asked me if I wanted to pay a bigger donation to sit with him and my mom...we can't afford to pay more than what we pay currently to sit in the second level.
