I guess being terrible for 30+ years makes fans happy when their team only loses by 40.

Last winning season for Eastern was 1995. So your statement is off by more than ten plus years. It won't be by forty either, if we lose. Your team is not going to be so red hot after losing Lynch. In fact, your team started to fade by the end of last season. So don't get your hopes up too high.

Even if lynch didnt play against emu mcintosh or hare or would of led the offense and still won by 40 over emu

And what a season that 1995 EMU squad had. A 6 - 5 record with 5 wins against teams with 2 wins or less and a blowout loss to a 2 win Pitt team. Take your trash talk to an FCS board where it might actually have some legs.

God bless all EMU alumn. Having said that, your level of play and fan support reek of the FCS...

They should have made the field blue. Then they could have had Blue-EMU be the sponsor and maybe get Johnny Bench to go to the game. Second thought-Nope.

Wow, you have some issues if you are pounding your chest over a 6-5 season 19 years ago.

Just did a quick calculation and EMU has had 4 winning seasons since 1980. And one of those seasons was a 6-5 record with wins over two FCS schools.

With a 108-258 record since 1980 I think my "EMU is Terrible" hypothesis would hold up in most scientific experiments. Let's have a few more years of 200 people in attendance and maybe a couple more 3 win seasons just to be sure. But hey they are having grey turf now!!!!

Wrong again on your statement of statistics. The only FCS school Eastern played in the eighties was Youngstown State. You are obviously thinking of the 2011 season when Eastern did play Howard and Alabama State in compiling a 6-6 record.

You are correct, but you are only telling half the story. It was because you came on our board, and then proceeded to bad mouth Eastern. If you want to trash Eastern on your board, like most are doing now, it's your board. Don't expect to be welcomed on our site and do what you did.

Your views on EMU football are radical and you consider anyone not predicting a miricle season to be bad mouthing EMU. I'm pretty sure my preseason prediction was more realistic than yours. Try not to be so sensitive.

My views of Eastern football are very realistic. I don't go off predicting winning seasons when the past results have not been good. I do expect improvement, and to be competitive.
Some of the posters on this board think Northern Illinois will always be on top, and always have great attendance. Nothing lasts forever, so when the fall comes, don't be surprised. It's going to happen.

You predicted EMU to go 8-4 last season. They went 2-10. The year before that... 2-10.
