RE: AAC announces two UC football game times
I got excited to hear some game times, but then saw it was just for the Friday games. Starting time is rather irrelevant for those games.

Well it stinks if you happen to live more than an hour away. Friday is a work day and who wants to take time off?

I'll be there with my wife and two kids amped up and ready to cheer. That is also one day after my birthday. I will be on vacation and traveling up from North Carolina so the time works well for me.

"Gunner back in the pocket...he throws a strike to a streaking McKay down the sideline...40...30...20...10...TOUCHDOWWWWN BEARCATS!!!!! (The Crowd Roars)

Can't wait man!

Wish the Halloween game were a home game but, otherwise, I'm fine with a couple of Friday games.

Game time is 7:00PM. Unless you work late on Fridays you should be able to get there without taking time off.

Some of our lives revolve around BOTH high school and college football. And since high school football involves kids I actually teach and often see, not to mention knowing their parents, it tends to rank higher than a college game two hours away.

That's why Friday games stink. I (and others) want to follow and support BOTH.

Give those who don't understand the MAC and its fan/community nuances a bit of a slide.

I'm glad that's a road game since I have to pass out candy while the wife takes the kid trick or treating. I can watch the game while I give out candy. :)

Was not referring to that MAC. Bruce knows what I'm talking about.

We have known for months that UC will be playing on Friday. In 2014 College and Pro football is played every day of the week on national TV. Every other major sport plays every day of the week.

I wish we could play on Saturday every week, night games in September and October and afternoon games later in the year. We all have other commitments so following UC football isn't as easy or convenient as we would like it to be. Thank TV for change and support the Cats the best way you can. No use complaining about something we can't change. UC isn't the only team playing on weeknights and the American isn't the only conference. Louisville in the ACC plays on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.

does it matter...point is it's on a night that speaks small time football. It's on a night that says "we can't get a day/slot when the big boys play". Any way you slice it, fri night games are lame.

It is what it is right now. We can't control it. Let's hope at some point (sooner than later) we are playing traditional Saturdays against P5 competition. Until that time we can only try to support the Cats best we can.
