3 AAC games make the Top 50 Must-Watch College Football Games of 2014 List
per some anonymous dude from Bleacher Report but hey it's June. Obviously subjective but an interesting category to attempt to rank. UH @ Cincy &/or UCF @ UH likely should have made the list and in my biased opinion ECU vs SC, VT, & UNC all should have warranted consideration as well.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/20966...es-of-2014

#36 UCF @ ECU
#44 ECU @ Cincy
#46 UCF vs. Penn State

UCF @ ECU could/should be electric

It's Bleacher Report. Yeash, let me know when it's someone some what credible. 07-coffee3[/align]

We need ESPN, Fox and NBC saying our games are good. Not some blogger. 03-phew

I know I know, although he does have nearly 11 million read articles which at least means he's providing a little publicity. I think there will be a lot of great match-ups this year and I believe that several teams in the perceived bottom half of this league will surprise. Luckily a lot of AAC games will be aired globally on the ESPN family of networks!

You're correct on that many teams in the AAC will surprise but as I've stated in another thread, watch times and platforms of games to change as the season progresses. Those teams who get hot will get the pub and the air time. It's about the benjamins. 07-coffee3

I agree 100%. Several teams are going to have to take advantage and make their program shine in the limelight!

I'm not trying to be a d-bag but it is obvious the author of that BR article is an ECU fan.

Lol, an ECU fan listed 50 games just to interject themselves? They also list UCF twice.

No idea why anyone would think this game or ECU vs Cincy are any more compelling than any other AAC games.

Must be an ECU homer.

That's exactly what an ECU fan would say.

FYI, Bleacher Report has taken steps to move from a fan-based blog site to a more traditional sports reporting site. Many of the articles are now written by freelance but legit sportswriters. B/R is doing TV advertising, and is sponsoring quite a few sporting events, and is slowly transforming itself.

Not saying it's ESPN, but it definitely is changing its stripes.

Seriously? ECU is the cream of the crop already in this league? Get a grip.

Should you really be taking a shot at 2 schools that where invited to this conference before ECU?

That's what you'll be saying to yourself after every loss "at least we were invited to the conference first"

Ummm... why on earth would anyone think that just because ECU won 10 games in C-USA that they will be a "better team" this year than other AAC teams? 01-wingedeagle

That doinch writer also said last years top 5 in NC were Duke, UNC, ECU and Wake/State. That's crazy because Duke squeaked by UNC and NC State, UNC squeaked by NC State, and we beat the crap out of UNC and NC State. Not saying we were #1, but should have been put at #2...

He's not even close to what i'd call an ECU fan.
