I once swapped the letters on a pet shop sign to read “Negros 5 for a dollar”
I had the characters to spell a different N-Word, but felt it was a bit too much…
It took four days before the shop took it down.

Back in the day, I altered several dozen campaign signs.
They read..

I simply took white paint and blotted out the JIM in Jimmy and the GL in Glass.

IN WV when I was a kid, we had a guy run for Governor named Peter Deter Beeter. His campaign platform was Peter D. Beeter, the master debater.

But nobody changed anything for that. It was all there to start with.

BTW, he lost in a landslide.

It's not very good but this kid in HS had a "Bass" sticker on his car (he was in orchestra). It was one of those stickers with the black letters in the white oval. We put whiteout over the B.

You could always find some redneck's truck (preferably one you don't like) , and paint it like this...
