Good grief. I'm getting so much better at reading stars and short hand twitter it's not even funny.

Memphis or UT?

Media reports are saying "former Vol." 03-wink

Once a Vol, always a Vol. lol

Unless you renounce it, as I did.

I would like to have seen that. Did it take an exorcism? 03-lmfao

There is a secret ritual that requires a voodoo priest, a Bigfoot and three Chinese Yaks. That was nearly impossible to arrange...I mean, Chinese Yaks? In Memphis? Took some doing, and who knew they could drink so much Jack Daniels? The bar would never let us back in after that.

The girls had fun, though.

Decent read. Actually a thoughtful assessment of the situation, even if tinged in UK blue. The only thing I disagree with is that PHN was actually a more highly sought recruit in HS, and essentially ate himself out of a better career. So, he could have been more of a target for pay than his final star ranking and subsequent college career indicate, at first glance.

It's a fact, go back to the rankings during his Fr. and Soph. years, he started slipping as a Jr. as other players caught him with size.

Once the move to Florida was made it was over.

Thanks. I thought that was the case, but didn't want to do the research to confirm it.

yeah I was thinking the same thing. I've seen people mention his name when we once had a discussion as to who we'd like to go after as coach if Coach Pastner left for another job.
It just shows me that Cal's guys are as dirty as Cal...prolly more so.
Cal has them do all the dirty work...and he gets by with 'plausible deniability'.

So is his plausible deniability.

I think he has to keep them happy in good jobs because, surely, at the very least (and I don't really believe this "least") they know enough to sink every place Teflon John has touched.

What I don't care for is his ex-staff's smirking and arrogance when they flit around Memphis. I loved it when one of them was asked to leave a Memphis establishment because the Kensucky blue attire was not going over well. ha ha. real funny

I've said before...we tend to gloss over the fact that Josh was helping UK kill our recruiting class.
The black hole he walked into here...he helped create.
That being said...he has since earned my loyalty...he has gotten offers from others schools in the power conferences for considerably more money.
He knows this can be a powerhouse if cultivated properly...I'm all for giving him the chance.

This mirrors my own feeling. I'm not blind to his shortcomings, but I do believe that he will get us where we want to go and, once there, he will keep us there.
