In fiscal year 2008, UH reported $1.1 million in licensing income to the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM). In FY2013, revenue grew to $16.6 million.

Haven't they been in talks (off and on) to take over Baylor's Medical School for some time now?

It was Rice on the Baylor deal, they never pulled the trigger, Baylor Med had too much debt, for them.
