I'd glady schedule and play Utah if that opportunity ever came. Utah is in no way a bad opponent... two BCS bowl wins and a former mid major program that has risen to the top quite easily and quickly.

Well ya cause we are desperate for any decent opponent to show up at Huskie Stadium.

Utah would be a great get. PAC-12 team that has been in some major bowl games the over the last five years. They had some struggles last year but five of their losses were UCLA, Arizona, USC, Arizona State and Oregon. They beat Stanford.

Exactly. I was referencing my comment towards Policiious because what he wrote makes it seem like playing Utah is a bad thing. Playing a pretty successful Pac 12 team is in no way bad for Michigan. One to two down seasons out of the past 10-15 years should, in no way, conclude that Utah is a bad opponent...even for a Big Ten team.

Remember what happened the last time Michigan played Appalachian State? Now there's a cautionary tale.

That would be amazing to see again. Last year was Appalachian State's first subpar season since about 2003 or so. In that time, they have won 9+ games every season besides maybe one when they won 8. They will be no cake walk.
