Ever the procrastinator, I need to make my annual Owl Club contribution before FY end June 30. I've been confused in regard to whether contributions to affinity groups, such as the RBI Club, count toward Owl Club benefits under the 'new rules.' In prior years they did not, but I'm getting the impression that starting this year they do. So, simple question: If, during the year, I have already contributed, say, $1.20 to the RBI Club, and I want to make my Owl Club contribution reach the benefits conferred at the $5.00 level, how much more do I need to contribute: $3.80, or $5.00? That's what the whole thing boils down to. Am confused by previous communications in this regard. Help appreciated.

Paul, for this calendar year (ending in 2 weeks), I do not believe contributions to the affinity groups count toward Owl Club benefits. This may change for the 2014 - '15 calendar year under Dr. K.
