Lemans 24 Hours
This year's TV schedule. 22.5 of the 24 hours are shown live on US TV. Craftsman Truck qualifying takes up the 4:00-5:30 time period Saturday afternoon.

I know it is supposed to be one of the biggest races in the world. But if they can show 22.5 hours of Lemans, Then why are we forced to watch the over night hours of the 24 Hours of Daytona online? It is considered maybe the 2nd or at worst 3rd biggest sports car race in the world.

24 Hour Lemans TV schedule

7:30am-3:00pm FS1
3:00pm-4:00pm FS2
5:30pm-1:00am FS2
1:00am-6:30am FS1
6:30am-8:30am FS2

RE: Lemans 24 Hours
Go Corvette racing..... Pratt and Miller will be challenged with the new car so it should be interesting. Haven't kept up with any rules changes this year so I guess I'll have to looking them up.
Season started off a little rocky but is shaping up nicely.

Rolex 24 #4 Corvette 5th place in class
#3 Corvette DNF

Twelve Hours of Sebring #4 Corvette 6th place in class
#3 Corvette 8th place in class

Long Beach #3 Corvette 1st place in class
#4 Corvette 3rd place in class

Laguna Seca #3 Corvette 1st place in class
#4 Corvette 5th place in class

The race will be on Directv channel 219.

Even some of the teams are having a hard time keeping up with some of the changes. BOP is constantly changing. Here are some of dog face's GTE BOP article.

Looks as if ACO/FIA are still determined to go ahead with GT convergence even though the SRO has stated they will not adopt the new rules and will continue with it's GT3 rules package. Looks as if right now Lemans and WEC are the only places that are dead fast against adopting GT3, even though the ACO has allowed GT3 cars in their other series.

Good place to keep up with events since a number of team members are active on the board. Heads up it will be moving soon as the software sucks.

RE: Lemans 24 Hours
If anyone ever wondered why it is i feel the way i do about the ACO and why i wish the USCR had nothing to do with them. All you have to do is to look at their decision on the Weathertech replacement driver just MINUTES prior to the team going out for pre race warm ups.

For some reason they feel it is safer to force a team to run the 24 hours with only 2 drivers and move up in classification. Than to approve a substitute driver who is experienced and ran in the over night hours last year. due to the fact he did not run over night practice this year.
