Leaving SB in Style!
I know Track and Field does not garner much attention but pretty impressive to say the least:

Congrats! Looking forward to being conference mates with WKU. Our 4x100 team finished 12th for second team All America honors. We finished 14th in Women's 100 M Hurdles, also for second team All America.

Good job, WKU!! I think I saw that MT is performing at nationals this week I think (3 of them on the men's side). Neat to see the lesser-known sports get some recognition.

You're going to be a fun bunch. I expect Marshall and WKU to develop a pretty solid rivalry over the years. I know MTSU is the team you love to hate, but hopefully you can reserve some madness for The Herd as well!

MT men finished tied for 24th in the Nation with UTEP, and had one 3rd place and another 4th place finish.

WKU men finished 18th in the nation.

RE: Leaving SB in Style!
UTSA Had Junior Kenyunta Hayes finish 6th in the Men's 400 Meter Hurdles Final.
UTSA Had two Shot Put Athletes competing as well.
UTSA finished 33rd in the team rankings tied with UCLA and Kansas.

http://www.rtspt.com/ncaa/d1outdoor14/final_res.htm

Congrats to all participants!

There were an amazing 7 schools tied for 24th place!

24) UTEP 10
24) Mid. Tenn. State 10
24) Miss State 10
24) Kent State 10
24) Auburn 10
24) Mississippi 10
24) Long Beach St. 10

31) Cornell 9.50
32) Stanford 9
33) Kansas 8
33) UCLA 8
33) UTSA 8

Not a lot of spacing between these schools! That's excellent! It compresses even more when you note that there were also:

2 schools tied for 4th
2 schools tied for 9th
2 schools tied for 13th
2 schools tied for 15th
2 schools tied for 18th
4 schools tied for 20th

Then we have the 7 schools tied for 24th. If we look at each repeated placement as 1 group, then UTEP and MT are in the 16th group and UTSA is in the 19th group.

Congrats!

(Just FYI, I know nothing about how scores are computed regarding team rankings. I'm just taking a highly optimistic view of the results with respect to the future of C-USA Track and Field competition.)
