He went on IR during the regular season and there was never any sort of injury buyout, so I would assume he got paid whatever contract he signed when the Bucs picked him up. So at least league min.

Lovie and the coaching staff love his size (6'2) for corner. He made the 53 man roster last year but unfortunately was injured after week 2 and put on IR. From the looks of it, Melvin has every opportunity to get ample playing time this upcoming season.

He looked good to me last preseason.
