RE: Tigers in Canada
This will be the first time I can remember that the Tigers began the season without a proven guard. Loaded in the paint, and at the wing. On paper, we have potential at guard, too. But it'll be interesting to see how they step up and mature. It's a GREAT opportunity for Pookie, Markel, Avery, and Dominic.

Hard to believe the Georgetown and Wisconsin games were 18 and 19 years ago.

Sweet. Yes, please give us the preseason scoop on how the guys look, and if it's not too much trouble, sharing a few pics would be mucho apreciado.

The games are Saturday through Tuesday; and it looks like the Montreal game will not be the 3rd and not the last game. I guess I'll stay overnight in Ottawa on the Saturday.

This is why I won't go to Canada; especially Ottawa anymore, even though I enjoy parts of it. We get enough warm weather down here. If I'm going to go on a trip I need guaranteed good weather and a beach. Not a knock on our fans, because it is great to get out and support the team; just not my cup of tea when I only get 3 weeks off some years.

Carleton is the Canadian version of the UCLA dynasty. They have won 10 of the last 12 Canadian national championships. It will be a test for our inexperienced Tigers and very unlike the competition offered by teams on our last out of country trip.

Here is an article about the team and their outstanding success: http://grantland.com/features/carleton-u...w-wiggins/

This is the guy that they send in the game when they have a big lead.

They play Indiana, Vermont, Illinois-Chicago before playing us twice.

Carleton beat Wisconsin last year 95-82 and lost in OT to Syracuse by 4.
