What Cantor's loss means to America
Cantor's loss.....someone enlighten me as to what you think this means.....Good or bad for Hillary.....GOP control of Congress...just an insignificant anomaly ???????????

I would call it a "significant" anomaly in the sense that a sitting House Majority Leader got voted out is a big deal, but people across the political spectrum will likely read into it too much in terms of how it would affect other races. Looking at this entire primary season, you can't really say that there's a strong anti-establishment fervor overall because that definitely wasn't the case in the vast majority of primaries up until last night. This seemed to be a case where the leadership position itself hurt Cantor (meaning that he had to take direct ownership of Washington decisions as opposed to having tangential links that most Congress members deal with in campaigns) more than any type of broader anti-establishment wave.

It's signficant from a historical perspective, but I don't think it's going to be a country changer or anything. Heck, given the media coverage you'd think the Cantor defeat was synonomous with finding a cure for cancer.
